Semi Permanent Eyebrow Tattoo
Naturally dark, full and shapely eyebrows, never let the tweezers any where near them… and they’ll still get sparse over time. So often do I see ladies who ask me to restore their once dark and beautiful brows. I thoroughly enjoy the opportunity to forget a clients concern of ‘I don’t want them to be too dark’.
I’m really lucky to meet such a variety of ladies, and the kinds of brow they want from me. When I first tinker with the Eyebrow Design part of the tattoo booking, with my pencil I’m just gently feathering a shape on your brow, it’s what I feel to be your natural shape. I’ll then look at it and see if I like it before tinkering a little more and showing you, usually one brow first if you’ve no set idea the style you’d like, then the fun bit of trying to match them up !
The designing part of any eyebrow tattoo booking takes about 30 to 40 minutes, and my two best bits are the first reaction to the shape I’ve drawn, and the one when I return to the room after leaving you for a few minutes to approve the shape. For us both this is a valuable few minutes. I get the chance to look with fresh eyes at the shape when I return, and you during the time I’m away get some space to be happy with the shape, and any final tinkering I need to do before we tattoo them in.
Semi Permanent Lash Definer Tattoo
Lash definer can be such a subtle effect, it’s colour taken only through the lash line, and is perfect for those wanting to add a little more definition to their eyes but without the book of makeup. But when you want to wear a little mascara, the eyes look beautifully awake without the ‘spiky’ look that you can get when only wearing mascara. You can have a little more colour on the bottom lashes, or ask for it to be really subtle like the lady has here. What’s lovely though, is you can go away and live with the colour for a month, then return for your top up and ask for a little more. No need to go heavy if you don’t want to… so lash definition is perfect for a 24/7 eye colouring.

Eyebrow Design
If eyebrow hair has been missing for a few years, unfortunately it doesn’t grow back, as much as we might wish it to. So the only option to give a fuller brow is to add in colour, this can be by tinting the skin (not a good idea long term), pencilling, powdering or waxing the area, or to have semi permanent pigment tattooed in. The pigment lasts for many months, with some colour remaining for years, so you want to get the shape right… and if you’ve no idea what kind of shape works for you… trusting someone to take control of the shape you get might be a leap of faith a little too far.

It’s always worth remembering that semi permanent makeup will heal lighter than it is for those first few days after you’ve been tattooed. Often you just get to see the before and after photos, so Beautiful Ink are very grateful when a client returns to allow the healed photo to be taken, as this is the picture you, as someone who may be considering having semi permanent makeup yourself, really need to see. The pigment is still settling into your skin over the first couple of months, and after this time you really get to see how natural the effect can be, if that’s how you’ve asked for it to be…
